The 84th Lyle Cran Shortstop Tournament

One of the most unique and longest running Amateur events in the Country, Stillwater Country Club is proud to host once again the 84th Annual Lyle Cran Shortstop Tournament. The entry fee of $175.00 includes the qualifying round with a Buffet Lunch on Saturday, September 5th (9am shotgun) and a minimum of two 9-hole match-play matches on Sunday, September 6th. The final matches will be held on Monday, September 7th. The field is limited to the first 144 players who sign up. The Deadline to sign-up will be Sunday, August 30th, at 7 pm. As a reminder, players will be seeded by their score on Saturday for their matches on Sunday.
This year, there will be (1) sixteen player senior (50 and over) flight and NEW men's and women's SCC flights. Those not qualifying for the Senior Flight will be placed in the regular flights based on their USGA handicap.
The decision to play in the Senior Flight must be made prior to qualifying.
A practice round is available on Friday, September 4th for a fee of $70.00 after 1 pm. Those not qualifying for the Championship Flight will be placed in a flight based on their established USGA handicap. Complete pairings, with starting times, will be posted Saturday evening and sent out by email to all participants.
